Adding a Photo on an Android Device

Using the EpiCollect app, you can add a photo to every new
entry using your mobile's camera. Currently only one
photo per entry can be added this photo (along with GPS position
and data) is sent centrally for display at a project website.
|
To add a photo to your new entry, tap the '2.Tap to add photo'
button from the main data entry page. This will launch
your phone's camera application and you can take a photo
as you normally would. |
|
Depending on your handset, once you take a photo, you
will have to confirm that you wish to keep this photo,
either by tapping 'Done' or similar. |
|
Once you select the picture to assign to your new entry
you will be returned to the main data screen and will
see that a thumbnail version of the image is present below
the 'Tap to enter Form Data' button.
Also, please note that the 'Photo' button text has
changed (in a similar fashion to the Assign GPS
button text) to indicate that you have completed this
part of the data entry for this new entry. You may also
tap the photo button to change the photo if you are not
happy with the image you have taken. |
Now that you have assigned a GPS position and attached a photo to your new entry you are ready to enter the Form data that has been defined by the project's form.
