Within EpiCollect you can list all the entries you have collected and go back and amend or update any previously collected entries (only those that have not been synchronised with the central server - see later..)

From the homescreen, tap the 'List Entries' option

All the entries you have collected for the project you have chosen will be listed.

The text listed for each entry is the data field chosen to act as the 'Title' when the project was initially setup (if blank, the date and time will be shown). By clicking on an Entry you can view all of the entries details and amend if neccessary prior to Synchronising the data (sending a copy) with the central Project website.

You can set the maximum number of entries to show in this list in the Settings Screen (see here for further details).

You can use the search bar to filter the entries shown in this list - See instructions for filtering.

If an entry has not yet been synchronised with the central project website, the text 'Not uploaded' will be listed under the entries title (as left).

You can synchronise data at anytime, however, in order to do so you do need to be connected to either a mobile data network (eg 2G/3G/4G) or a wireless network. Once again, collecting entries with EpiCollect DOES NOT require network connectivity but synchronising data does. This means that you could collect data in more remote areas where there is no mobile data coverage and when you return to an area that doesa have connectivity synchronise at this point.

We will now walkthrough how to synchronise entries with the central project website.
